Fatal Crash Kills Two Brothers

Posted on: June 21, 2021

A late-night U-turn on Interstate 278 caused the death of two brothers, aged 22 and 15 years, last Tuesday when their vehicle crashed into two other vehicles traveling northbound along Route 1. Both the driver and passenger were pronounced dead at the scene. All other people in the cars involved were hospitalized. The case is currently under investigation by New Jersey police.
Since New Jersey is a no-fault insurance state, a victim’s own personal injury protection (PIP) will cover medical costs, regardless of who was at-fault for the accident; however, victims may not receive compensation for their pain and suffering. Particularly in the case of a fatal accident, consulting with a New Jersey personal injury lawyer is the best course of action, especially for a deceased’s loved ones.
