Visitor Dies Following Roller Coaster Ride at Universal Epic Universe

A visitor to Universal Epic Universe theme park in Florida has died following a roller coaster ride. According to park officials, the man became unresponsive while riding the Stardust Racers roller coaster on Wednesday, September 17, 2025.
The man was transported to an area hospital where he later died. The coronerโs report, released the following day, stated his death was due to multiple blunt impact injuries, though it did not list any specific injuries. The medical examiner determined the manner of death to be accidental.
โWe are devastated by this event and extend our sincerest sympathies to the guestโs loved ones,โ Universal Orlando Resorts said in a statement. โWe are fully committed to cooperating with this ongoing investigation.โ
The Orange County Sheriffโs Office is investigating the incident. Park officials said, as a precaution, Stardust Racers will remain closed until the investigation is concluded.
